Clementine's shop is a unique lifestyle gift shop near Tisbury, Wiltshire. The shop has been open for 10 years this year and continues to go from strength to strength. The range of items in the shop changes constantly. Customers, who come for the first time, often comment about the drive down the track to the courtyard, passing the sheep with their bells & the bantams roaming in the courtyard, that they don’t expect to find a shop bursting with interesting & unusual products. Clementine’s shop stocks a huge range of items. A few of our suppliers include Thornback & Peel, Pom Pom Galore, Archivist, IHR, Burgeon & Ball, Grand Illusions, Melissa & Doug, Powell Craft, Tweedmill, Orchard Toys and many more.
I was inspired by working for Cath Kidston in her design studio, the opportunity to fulfil my dream of opening a shop, came through moving to the countryside and, newly married, settling close to my parents near Tisbury.
My mother, Solveig Stone has been running the well-known Compton Marbling from the barns where the gift shop is based and my father, Humphrey Stone is a typographic designer. My grandmother ran a famous shop in Londonderry. Perhaps it therefore runs in the family, having an eye for beautiful things! From the barns where both my parents work I set up 'Clementine's shop'. I now live in Semley with my husband, three sons; Joshua, Orlando and Rafferty, three chickens & a cat called Tigger!
Liv & I enjoy meeting the customers in the shop, those that are loyal and come on a regular basis and those that have ventured out to Clementine’s shop for the first time. We enjoy offering customers a cup of tea if they want to spend a while browsing. Help is always on hand if the customers needs it.
We hope you may be able to enjoy coming to visit my gift shop near Tisbury or that you will enjoy browsing on the online shop.
